Alex Awards

The Alex Awards are given to ten books written for adults that have special appeal to young adults, ages 12 through 18.  The winning titles are selected from the previous year's publishing.

Margaret A. Edwards Award

Lifetime achievement award for authors of young adult novels.

Michael L. Printz Award

Awarded for excellence in young adult literature.

New Outstanding Books for the College Bound

What every well-prepared high school senior should be reading - fiction, nonfiction, biography, drama, and poetry - as chosen by the Young Adult Library Services Assocation.  Multi-cultured and modern, these books are more enjoyable reads than many earlier, strictly classical selections.

Teens' Top Ten

Annual "best of the year" lists created by teens, for teens!  Books are nominated throughout the year and voted on by readers aged 12 through 18 during Teen Read Week.
